WMs and Commanders at Garstang

The Wyrebank Suite at Garstang was the setting for the inaugural dinner for the Masters of Mark lodges and R.A.M. Commanders.
It is being trialled to replace the usual get-together of those officers with the group executive over a cup of coffee at the Mark Provincial Grand Lodge meeting.
There was a good turnout for the event with members from all parts of the Province making the journey.
A four-course meal was enjoyed with the diners at round tables and the Executive scattered amongst them.
After the meal the Executive assembled together to answer questions from the floor. The topics covered included the awarding of ranks, day-time lodges, the work of the Almoner and much more.

It proved an interesting occasion and was so well received as to be replicated next year.
